DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE (60 or 80 cm) SIZE 5 mm – or size needed to get 17 sts x 22 rows in stocking st with 1 strand of each yarn = 10 x 10 cm.

PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.4. The diagrams show the pattern seen from RS.
STOLE
Worked back and forth in 2 parts that are sewn tog when finished.
Cast on 73 sts on circular needle size 5 mm with 1 strand Alpaca and 1 strand Kid-Silk (= 2 strands). Work as follows: A.1 (= 8 sts), A.2 (= 59 sts), A.3 (= 6 sts). After 2nd row in A.2 there are 49 sts in A.2, 63 sts in total on needle. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION When A.2 has been worked 1 time vertically, continue with A.4 over sts in A.2. Continue with A.1, A.4 and A.3 until piece measures 72 cm. Cast off. Work another part the same way and sew the two cast-off edges tog with grafting/kitchener stitches.
