KNITTING TENSION
15 stitches in width and 20 rows in height with stocking stitch and 3 strands on needle size 5.5 mm = 10 x 10 cm.
NOTE: Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches within 10 cm, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches within 10 cm, change to a smaller needle size.

HAT – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE
The piece is worked in the round with circular needle/double pointed needles, bottom up, in rib.
HAT
Cast on 64-80 stitches with circular needle size 5 .5 mm, 1 strand DROPS Fiesta and 2 strands DROPS Kid-Silk (3 strands). Work rib in the round (knit 2, purl 2). Remember to maintain the knitting tension. Continue until the piece measures 24-25 cm. Now work pattern A.1, 4-5 times on the round. When A.1 is finished in height there are 20-25 stitches. On the next round knit all stitches together 2 and 2 = 10-13 stitches. Cut the strand, thread it through the remaining stitches, tighten and fasten well. The hat measures approx. 33-34 cm. Fold up the bottom 7-8 cm.
