DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE (60 cm) SIZE 7 mm – or size needed to get 13 stitches x 27 rows with 2 strands and garter stitch = width 10 cm and 10 cm vertically.

Pattern instructions
Keep the screen on while knitting

Work piece back and forth on circular needle in garter stitch. Knit all rows. Knit yarn overs to make holes when increasing.
Cast on 9 stitches with 1 strand of each colour (= 2 strands) on circular needle size 7 mm.
Then work as follows:
ROW 1 (= right side): Knit 1, 1 yarn over, knit 3, 1 yarn over, knit 1, 1 yarn over, knit 3, 1 yarn over and knit 1 = 13 stitches. Insert a marker thread in the middle stitch.
ROW 2 (= wrong side): Knit 1, 1 yarn over, knit until 1 stitch remains, 1 yarn over and knit 1 = 2 stitches increased.
ROW 3 (= right side): Knit 1, 1 yarn over, knit until middle stitch, 1 yarn over, knit 1 (= middle stitch), 1 yarn over, knit until 1 stitch remains, 1 yarn over and knit 1 = 4 stitches increased.
REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until piece measures approx. 31 cm measured along middle stitch - or desired measurements. Loosely cast off by knitting. Cut and fasten the strands.
