The technique MAGIC LOOP can be used – you then only need circular needle of 80 cm.
KNITTING TENSION
19 stitches in width and 25 rows vertically in stocking stitch = 10 x 10 cm.
NOTE! Remember that needle size is only a suggestion. If you have too many stitches on 10 cm switch to larger needles. If you have too few stitches on 10 cm switch to smaller needles.

INCREASE TIP
Increase on each side of every stitch with a marker as follows: Work until 1 stitch remains before stitch with a marker, make 1 yarn over, knit 3 (marker is in the middle stitch of these stitches), make 1 yarn over (2 stitches increased). On next row knit yarn overs twisted.
HAT - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE
Work in the round top and down on double pointed needles, changing to circular needle when needed.
HAT
Cast on 10 stitches on double pointed needles size 4 mm with DROPS Air.
ROUND 1: * Knit 1, make 1 yarn over , work from -* the entire round.
ROUND 2: Knit and knit yarn overs twisted = 20 stitches.
Insert 4 markers, insert markers in a stitch so that there are 4 stitches between every marker on round.
Then work in stocking stitch and increase 1 stitch on each side of stitch with marker - read INCREASE TIP (= 8 stitches increased on round): Increase like this every 3rd round 9-9-10 times in total = 92-92-100 stitches. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION!
SIZE M/ L AND L/XL
Knit 1 round while increasing on each side of the 0-2-1 markers on round = 96-102 stitches.
ALL SIZES
Piece measures approx. 11-11-12 cm. Work in stocking stitch until piece measures approx. 24-25-26 cm. Switch to circular needle size 3.5 mm. Knit 1 round and increase 16-18-18 stitches evenly = 108-114-120 stitches. Work rib (knit 1/purl 1) for 16 cm.
Cast off stitches with knit over knit and purl over purl - make sure to avoid a tight cast-off edge.
Fold the bottom 5 cm up twice towards right side.
