CLOTH
Use hook size 2.5 mm and DROPS Safran.
Crochet 56 CHAIN STITCHES - read explanation above, turn piece.
Now work PATTERN – see explanation above, and work as follows:
ROW 1 (= right side): Work A.1, work A.2 until 1 chain stitch remains and work A.3.
ROW 2 (= wrong side): Work A.3, work A.2 until 1 half treble crochet remains and work A.1.
ROW 3 (= right side): Work A.1, work A.2 until 1 half treble crochet remains and work A.3.
Remember to follow the crochet tension!
Repeat 2nd and 3rd ROW as shown in A.4.
Work until piece measures the in height and width but adjust to finish with a row from wrong side. Cut and fasten the yarn.

= 1 chain stitch - if you work at the end of hook the chain stitch will often be too tight, 1 chain stitch should be the same length as 1 half treble crochet is wide

= this row shows chain stitches as written in pattern and has already been worked - begin on next row
= 2 chain stitches
= 1 half treble crochet in chain stitch below
= 1 half treble crochet in stitch below but instead of working through the 2 stitch loops at the top of stitch work through stitch loop directly below these 2 stitch loops. To make it easier to crochet - fold the half treble crochets a bit backwards to make it easier to get to the stitch loop directly below, work half treble crochet in this stitch loop.
