REMEMBER: Hook size is only a suggestion. If you have too many stitches on 10 cm switch to larger sized hook or if you get too few stitches on 10 cm switch to smaller sized hook.

CHAIN STITCH
If you work at the back of the crochet hook the chain stitch will often be too tight. 1 chain stitch should be just as long as 1 treble crochet/double crochet is wide.

Remember to read the diagrams from right to left when working from right side and from left to right when working from wrong side.

Work 36 CHAIN STITCHES - read explanation above, on hook size 5 mm with DROPS Air.
Work PATTERN – see explanation above and work as follows:
ROW 1 (= right side): Work A.1, i.e. work 1 treble crochet in 4th chain stitch from hook, then work A.2 until 2 chain stitches remain on row, work A.3 in the last 2 chain stitches on row, turn piece = 33 treble crochets + 3 chain stitches.
ROW 2 (= wrong side): Work A.3 in the first 2 stitches on row, work A.2 until 2 stitches remain on row, work A.1 in the last 2 stitches on row.
ROW 3 (= right side): Work A.1 in the first 2 stitches on row, work A.2 until 2 stitches remain on row, work A.3 in the last 2 stitches on row.
Continue the pattern back and forth like this - repeat the repetition vertically. Remember to follow the crochet tension!
Continue like this until piece measures approx. 179 cm - finish after 1st row (i.e. after a row with 3 treble crochets together / 1 chain stitch). Work last row as last row in repetition, i.e. work A.1 in the first 2 stitches, work A.2 until 2 stitches remain on row (i.e. work 1 treble crochet in every stitch), work A.3 in the last 2 stitches on row. Cut and fasten the yarn. Scarf measures approx. 180 cm.
