CROCHET TENSION
14 treble crochets in width and 8.5 rows vertically with 2 strands = 10 x 10 cm.
NOTE! Remember that hook size is only a suggestion. If you have too many stitches on 10 cm switch to larger hook. If you have too few stitches on 10 cm switch to smaller hook.

CHAIN STITCHES
If you work at the end of crochet hook the chain stitch will often be too tight.
1 chain stitch should be just as long as 1 treble crochet is wide.
CROCHET INFORMATION
At the beginning of every row with treble crochets work 5 chain stitches to replace first treble crochet, i.e. skip 1st treble crochet from previous row. Work last treble crochet on next row around the 5 chain stitches at the beginning of previous round.

Work 65 CHAIN STITCHES - read explanation above, on hook size 5 mm and 2 strands DROPS Kid-Silk.
Work 1 treble crochet in 6th chain stitch from hook - read CROCHET INFO, and work 1 treble crochet in each of the remaining 60 chain stitches = 61 treble crochets.
Then work pattern as follows:
Work A.1, A.2 5 times in total in width, A.3 and finish with A.4. Continue pattern like this. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION!
When pattern has been worked 1 time vertically, repeat A.1a to A.4a vertically.
When piece measures 157 cm, adjust nicely with pattern, work 1 row with 1 treble crochet in every treble crochet and 1 treble crochet around every chain stitch. Cut and fasten the yarn.
