Start every row with dc with 1 ch before continuing as explained below.
Replace first tr at beg of every tr row with 3 ch.
PATTERN

STOLE
Work from centre and out in each side - read CROCHET INFO.
Crochet 96 ch on hook size 3.5 mm with Baby Merino. Work 1 tr in 4th ch from hook (= 2 tr), 1 tr in each of the next 2 ch, * skip 1 ch, 1 tr in each of the next 5 ch , repeat from - 14 more times = 79 tr. Then work from 1st row in A.1-A.3 - see diagram.
ROW 1: Work 1 dc in first tr (= A.1), * 3 ch, skip 3 tr, (1 tr, 3 ch, 1 tr) in next tr, 3 ch, skip 3 tr, 1 dc in each of the next 3 tr , repeat from - (= A.2) 6 more times, 3 ch, skip 3 tr, (1 tr, 3 ch, 1 tr) in next tr, 3 ch, skip 3 tr, 1 dc in last tr (= A.3).
ROW 2: Work 1 dc in first dc, 3 ch, skip 1 ch-space, work 7 tr around next ch-space, 3 ch, * skip 1 ch-space and 1 dc, 1 dc in next dc, 3 ch, skip 1 dc and 1 ch-space, 7 tr around next ch-space, 3 ch , repeat from - 6 more times, 1 dc in last dc on row.
ROW 3: 1 dc in first dc, * 4 ch, 1 dc in each of the next 7 tr, 1 ch , repeat from - 6 more times, 4 ch, 1 dc in each of the next 7 tr, 4 ch, skip 1 ch-space, 1 dc in last dc.
ROW 4: 6 ch, skip the 2 first dc, 1 dc in each of the next 3 dc, 3 ch, skip 2 dc, * (1 tr, 3 ch, 1 tr) around next ch-space, 3 ch, skip the first 2 dc, 1 dc in each of the next 3 dc, skip 2 dc, 3 ch , repeat from - 6 more times, 1 tr in last dc on row.
REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION!
ROW 5: 3 ch, 3 tr around first ch-space, 3 ch, 1 dc in the middle of the next 3 dc, 3 ch, skip 1 ch-space, 4 tr around next ch-space, * 3 tr around same ch-space, 3 ch, 1 dc in the middle of the next 3 dc, 3 ch, skip 1 ch-space, 4 tr around next ch-space, * repeat from - 5 more times. Work 3 tr around same ch-space, 3 ch, 1 dc in the middle of the next 3 dc, 3 ch, 3 tr around next ch-space, 1 tr in 3rd ch on row below.
ROW 6: 1 dc in each of the first 4 tr, 5 ch, skip 2 ch-spaces, 1 dc in each of the next 3 tr, * 1 dc in each of the next 4 tr, 5 ch, skip 2 ch-spaces, 1 dc in each of the next 3 tr , repeat from - 6 more times, 1 dc in 3rd ch on row below.
ROW 7: Work 1 dc in first dc, * 3 ch, (1 tr, 3 ch, 1 tr) around next ch-space, 3 ch, skip 2 dc, 1 dc in each of the next 3 dc , repeat from -* 6 more times, 3 ch, (1 tr, 3 ch, 1 tr) around next ch-space, 3 ch, skip 3 dc, 1 dc in last dc.
Continue like this and repeat 2nd-7th row (= A.X) until piece measures approx. 74 cm - adjust to finish after 3rd or 6th row.
Now work the other side of stole. Fasten the strand with 1 sl st in the first ch worked and continue as follows: Work 3 ch (= 1 tr), work 1 tr in each of the next 3 ch, * skip 1 ch, 1 tr in each of the next 5 ch , repeat from -* = 79 tr. Then work from 1st row in A.1-A.3 as explained above. Adjust after the first part. Fasten off.
