COASTERS
You work 10 coasters in 10 different patterns. The coasters are numbered as follows: Coaster-1 is beside the cup, then count in a line from left to right.
COASTER-1:
The coaster is worked in the round from the middle outwards.
Start with hook size 3.5 mm and off white and work in the round according to diagram A.1a (= cast on + round 1). Then work pattern according to diagram A.1c a total of 6 times on the round - diagram A.1b shows how rounds start and finish and is worked in addition to A.1c. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When the whole of A.1b and A.1 have been completed in height, the coaster measures approx.11 cm in diameter. Cut and fasten strand.
COASTER -2:
The coaster is worked in the round from the middle outwards.
Work 4 chain stitches with hook size 3.5 mm and light beige and form them to a ring with 1 slip stitch in first chain stitch. Then work in the round according to diagram A.2b a total of 1 time on the round and A.2c a total of 6 times on the round - diagram A.2a shows how rounds start and finish and is worked in addition to A.2b/A.2c. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When the whole of diagram A.2 is completed in height, the coaster measures approx. 11 cm in diameter. Cut and fasten strand.
COASTER-3:
The coaster is worked in the round from the middle outwards.
Work 4 chain stitches with hook size 3.5 mm and off white and form them to a ring with 1 slip stitch in first chain stitch. COASTER-4:
The coaster is worked in the round from the middle outwards.
Work 4 chain stitches with hook size 3.5 mm and pearl grey and form them to a ring with 1 slip stitch in first chain stitch. Then work in the round according to diagram A.4b - A.4a shows how rounds start and finish and is worked in addition to A.4b. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When the whole of A.4 has been completed, the coaster measures approx. 12 cm in diameter. Cut and fasten strand.

Then work in the round according to diagram A.7b a total of 8 times in the round - diagram A.7a shows how rounds start and finish and is worked in addition to A.7b. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When the whole of A.7 has been completed in height, the coaster measures approx. 11 cm in diameter. Cut and fasten strand.
